    Every stitch, a story.

    The ThreadVenturer is a small South African business with a simple idea: the things you carry every day can carry something that matters too.

    Our Palestine Solidarity Products bring the colours of the flag and the classic keffiyeh print to bags, beads, notebooks and cushions, so that remembering Palestine becomes part of your everyday life, at work, at home and out in the world.

    The symbols

    The colours and the patterns

    The designs in this collection draw on symbols Palestinians have carried for generations.

    The flag

    Black, white, green and red: the Pan-Arab colours, flown by Palestinians as a sign of identity, unity and steadfastness.

    The keffiyeh

    The black-and-white scarf is a symbol of Palestinian identity. Its fishnet pattern is often linked to the sea, its bold lines to trade routes and its leaf pattern to the olive tree.

    Tatreez

    Palestinian cross-stitch embroidery, with motifs passed down through generations of women. UNESCO recognised it as cultural heritage in 2021. It's the stitch that runs through this page.
